The Questions
The Answers
Payment
| 1 Who pays the government their taxes All taxes for Canadian studios are remitted to the government by Show My Photos.
All taxes for studio in countries other than Canada are remitted to the photographer in their monthly remittance and they are responsible for sending that money to their government.
2 When are payments sent out
Show My Photos runs a remittance report on the first working day of each month, so if the first of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, then payment is sent on the next working day
3 What currency am I payed in? All cheques from Show My Photos are in Canadian dollars
4 Why are some of my sales not in my remittance report Sales do not go into your remittance report until they have been processed by the photographer.
So if an order has been sold from a self fulfillment gallery then that order will be included in the remittance report once the status changes from "pending" to received".
If an order is being fulfilled by Show My Photos, the sale will not be transfered to your remittance report until the status is changed from "Received" to "At Lab"

Prints
| 1 What is a Portrait and why is more expensive than a regular print A Portrait print is mounted on 1/4 inch fiber board and laminated with a UV protective coating.
2 What is the largest size I can print?
30 inches is the widest our printer can handle but the printer uses a roll of photo paper so the length is undetermined.
3 Can I sell custom sizes? Photographers can create any size print they like. If you are using the fulfillment option, then our software will charge you for the next closest size print we offer. Our software will also figure out the appropriate container for your custom size and charge your customer appropriately.
